Hunger Hero Norma Henton Strikes Again!

Does one person make a difference? Just ask the people of Dodge City. Ask the people of the refugee camp in Africa who have never met Norma Henton, but are alive because of her. Just ask us. We are completely amazed by this sweet grandmotherly woman who is able to get her community to do epic things.
Numana has a select group of “Hunger Heroes,” who are people who have not only done extraordinary things for Numana already, but who also continue to host events and go the extra mile for Numana.
Our first one is a retired schoolteacher from Dodge City, Norma Henton. Norma is an exceptional bundle of energy who has hosted not one, but two Numana events. She has surrounded herself with a marvelous group of volunteers and has managed to raise nearly $150,000.00 in the last two years to feed over a half a million people! She is amazing!
And she even managed to get me deputized as “Deputy Sheriff of Dodge City, Kansas.” And since I’m an old Gunsmoke fan, I get to consider myself as charmed as Matt Dillon although people say they think I’m more like Festus than Matt.
Dodge City recently had another event and had over a thousand people show up to package over 225,00 meals for refugees in Africa.
One person can, and does, make a difference. Thanks, Norma Henton, for being the amazing person you are who helps “empower people to save the starving.”
