SWIPE Takes Off!

Numana’s first State-Wide Packaging Event, or SWIPE as it has been termed, was a stunning success! Sixteen colleges and universities from around the state of Kansas held events during the month of October to celebrate the United Nation’s World Food Day. The result, 597,424 meals, were packaged by over 4,000 volunteers. It was invigorating to see college students and faculty become passionate about the initiative; raising funds, recruiting volunteers, and ultimately, accomplishing their goals.
But, It doesn’t end there. SWIPE: Year 2 is already in the planning stages. If you are in college, or know a student who would be interested in participating in the planning for next year’s event, please contact Caleb McNary at caleb@numanainc.com
